Alan's 24th Birthday

Alan, me and Mindy outside of the theatre for Legally Blonde. We went to a broadway play for his birthday while everyone was still here. We really liked it and thought it was hilarious. We would recommend it.
Holding all his presents up. In his right hand is his birthday cards. I got him a cheesy love one instead of a birthday one. On the front it says you're my dream come true. Then in the inside it says always have been always will be. The card also sings "You"by Rascal Flatts.

You all are probably looking at the trash bag box thinking he might have got trash bags but he didn't. I just used it wrap the cologne so he wouldn't know what it was.

READ BEFORE GOING ON

ok so there is a lot of new posts so make sure you go down far enough to see them all. My parents and sister mindy came to visit for a week. The posts below are pictures of the vacation. I made the post in order of what we did but didn't realize that you would be looking at them in the opposite order. We went to Maine the first day, Boston the second, drove through Rhode Island on the way back to my apartment and then went to New York City for the last days of the vacation. So If you want to see the pictures in order of what we did go down to Maine and work your way back up.

New York

Then when we got back we went to New York City. We spent three days there. On the first day we went and saw the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We went and saw the Manhattan temple and the Lincoln center.

The second day we walked through Central Park. We also went to the Natural History Musuem. Then we got lunch in Times Square. We then went and walked around Saks 5th ave. We also saw St. Patrick Cathedral. After that we went up to the 102nd floor of the Empire State Building.

The third day we went and stood in line for discount tickets and got tickets to Legally Blonde, the broadway play. We went into Bloomingdales and looked around. We then went down to Wall Street and saw the New York Stock Exchange building and the famous bull. We then met Alan and ate dinner at Junior's and went to the play for his birthday. We tried Junior's cheesecake also. Alan had eaten it before when he came to New York for interviews in October and kept telling us how amazing it was. Well we decided to try it out and were not disappointed. We had the raspberry swirl and the chocolate swirl. They were both very good.
We got in line for Junior's at 6:10. The play didn't start until 8:00 so we thought we had plenty of time to eat and get to the play. Junior's said it would be a 30-45 minute wait and decided it would be okay. Well, it ended up taking an hour before we were seated. So we were getting worried that we wouldn't be done in time for the show. When we sat down, our waiter asked "you have a show at 8:00?" We said yes and were worried we wouldn't be out in time. He said "don't you worry, I will take care of you." Well, he had our food out in about 10 minutes and then brought out our cheesecake just as we were finishing our meal. We were in and out in about 30 minutes and made it to the show with time to spare. It was the fastest service I have ever experienced at a restaurant.

Rhode Island

On the way back to my aparment we went through Newport, RI. We left just as the sun was setting.

Boston

Boston Temple

Bunkers Hill. My Dad, Mindy and I climbed this, it had 294 steps. I was dying afterwards from it and my legs hurt for the next 3 days. The picture below is looking out at Boston from the top of this building.

This was city hall. There was a donkey so Mindy and I took pictures trying to make it look like we were riding it.

After Maine we went and stayed out side of Boston, MA. We then went into Boston and did the freedom trail. For those who have never heard of it like me before we did it, it is a three mile walk of historical places and sites in Boston. In the beginning in between the buildings there was a cementary with people like John Hancock, Paul Revere, and Samuel Adams. This is John Hancock's grave stone.

Maine

This is a picture of Maine coast. My parents came up and stayed for week. We went to Maine and stayed in Freeport. We drove around maine and looked at the little bay cities.

We went to Orange County Choppers store in New York. They had a lot of their bikes in the store.

Alan's new suit

There is a place that has discounted suits that are really nice. We went and got Alan one. He has always wanted a pin striped suit. This one is a white pin stripe but it isn't the normal thick pin stripe. It alternates between a thick and thin pin stripe. It was also a three piece suit although who knows when he will wear the vest but it was included in the price.
