My Graduation in December of 2006

Here is a picture of me at graduation. I was finished with my last semester of school in December 06. They let you walk the semester of or semester after you graduate so I walked in April 07 so I could walk the same time as my brother in law. I also graduated with the Accounting department so that way Alan's dad could hand me the diploma. It was really cool too because they had a suprise visit by Elder Hales of the Twelve, so I got to shake his hand as well.

Randoms

This was our first Christmas Tree that I made when we were first married. I just put paper on a card board box and colored the tree in. The candy canes are real. Also the little things on the tree are pictures from our wedding announcement. The tree topper was a wedding picture of us. It was fun to make and way easy to clean up which is the best part.

This was Alan's birthday card from his birthday last march. It say hey big hunk take a day to be a star because its your birthday. Uno you are the joy of my life. Look someday when we are making 100 grand we will have lots of runts running around. It will make us snicker. Your my hot tomale and sweetheart. love your airhead wife kristy. the airhead was a joke I am not really an air head.

Some of New Canaan.

This is a huge house we saw on one of our drives. There are lots of huge house here and most are new. Also most look like the old colonial houses.

We have to back up the side of his house every day. To get to our apartment you have to turn in his drive way and then take the turn to the right and follow that down. I still am not pro at backing up the hill.

Second Trip In to the City

Alan at Grand Central Station. We missed the train to come home so we had to wait till the next one so we had some time to kill. We were planning on coming home on the 11:22 train but we had to take the 12:22 so we didn't come till late.

We stood in line for like 30 to 40 minutes to get discount tickets to go to the Phantom of the Opera. We got half off tickets. It was really fun to go to a broadway play in New York city. We got really good seats too. we were on the first level.

Looking down from the building.

A lady in our ward that I watch her kids has an apartment in New York. She let us go up to the roof so we could see the empire state building. It was really cool to see it lit up and really nice of her to let us go up. We were on the top of a 16th story building so I can't imagine being on the 86th floor and looking down over the city.

Looking back at the city.
This is a plaque that explained what the symbols on the statue meant. We didn't know there are broken chains at the feet.

This saturday we went into New York again. This time we went and saw the Statue of Liberty first with Janelle and Jared. We paid to ride the ferry out to walk around the staute. It was really cool to see it close up. The picture above is us riding the boat across. We also went ot Ellis Island but didn't take any pictures of the buildings. It was cool to read how many people went through there at one time.

My first trip to New York City

Another M&M
This picture is really dark but it is a picture of me at grand central station right before we got on the train to come home.

Here is a picture of us waiting to get on the subway to go back to Grand Central Station.

We took a picture looking down the subway station.
We went and saw the outside of the Madison Square Garden.
They had lots of different M&M figurians in the store.

Another a picture of the M&M's.

Here is a piture of alan holding the candy dispensor.

The M&M nascar.

They had a row of different colored M&M's and different types. They had bags that you could fill and pay from some. There is another picture up a little bit more.

The M&M Store. This is an M&M dispensor dress as the Statue of Liberty.

Hersheys store. This is a piggy bank
There was a ferris wheel in the Toys-R-Us store at time square. The Toys-R-Us is three stories tall.

Alan and me on the train

Me sitting on the train waiting for it to take off

Our train ticket into Grand Central Station. We took the train station in from where we live. It is an hour train ride into New York. We had to get off at Stamford (about a 15 min train ride) and hop onto another train to go into New York. Most of the time the train is just straight through to New York. This was my first time to New York.

New Canaan and our apartment

we took a picture of one of the major rivers we crossed coming here because part of it was a snowed over
We took a picture of the miles it took to get from Rexburg to New Canaan. It was probably about 50 miles less then this but you still the image of of far we went.

My new hair cut I am not sure if you can tell very well

One of the grocery stores in New Canaan. The side says world largest dairy farm as shown in ripleys believe it or not

Tried to get a picture of the road but I am going to either take a video of driving or take other pictures. The roads just wind and have tall trees to the both sides of you and houses so it is very confusing.

The New Canaan freeway

This is the bathroom

The living room

We live in a basement of a families house. This is their back around and what we see out our kitchen window.

This is our bed. We are sleeping on an air matress for now and maybe even the whole time we are here.

Alan's Grandma's birthday

Alan's dad asked us to go get their grandma some flowers for her 90th birthday.
