Then when we got back we went to New York City. We spent three days there. On the first day we went and saw the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We went and saw the Manhattan temple and the Lincoln center.

The second day we walked through Central Park. We also went to the Natural History Musuem. Then we got lunch in Times Square. We then went and walked around Saks 5th ave. We also saw St. Patrick Cathedral. After that we went up to the 102nd floor of the Empire State Building.

The third day we went and stood in line for discount tickets and got tickets to Legally Blonde, the broadway play. We went into Bloomingdales and looked around. We then went down to Wall Street and saw the New York Stock Exchange building and the famous bull. We then met Alan and ate dinner at Junior's and went to the play for his birthday. We tried Junior's cheesecake also. Alan had eaten it before when he came to New York for interviews in October and kept telling us how amazing it was. Well we decided to try it out and were not disappointed. We had the raspberry swirl and the chocolate swirl. They were both very good.
We got in line for Junior's at 6:10. The play didn't start until 8:00 so we thought we had plenty of time to eat and get to the play. Junior's said it would be a 30-45 minute wait and decided it would be okay. Well, it ended up taking an hour before we were seated. So we were getting worried that we wouldn't be done in time for the show. When we sat down, our waiter asked "you have a show at 8:00?" We said yes and were worried we wouldn't be out in time. He said "don't you worry, I will take care of you." Well, he had our food out in about 10 minutes and then brought out our cheesecake just as we were finishing our meal. We were in and out in about 30 minutes and made it to the show with time to spare. It was the fastest service I have ever experienced at a restaurant.

Sounds like you had a great trip! You do look quite cold in some of the pictures though. You guys got to see a lot of sites, that is so fun and one advantage to living out there.
