Look Who is One

Tanner had his first birthday party. We did a costume party. There were games and prizes. It was a fun party. I can't believe that my little boy is one. Seems like I was bringing him home the other day.

Hair Cut

Tanner had his first hair cut yesterday. As you can see he was not a fan. He wanted me the whole time. His hair was getting so long it would curl at the ends. It turned out cute but i do miss the baby curls.

We bought Tanner a Jersey for the games instead of a shirt.

With the help of my sister I started the next step. I sewed a zig zag border around the squares to keep the middle from moving around. Here is a the back of the blanket.

Tanner's Blanket

For my birthday I bought my self a sewing machine. I decided I wanted to try and make Tanner a blanket. This is the top part of the blanket. I still need to put the middle stuff in and sew the back on. This is my first time making a blanket. It is not perfect but for the first time I think it turned out pretty good. I also didn't go off a pattern. I saw my sister doing this same kind of thing so that is what I went off of.

9 month check up

So Tanner had his 9 month check up at 9 1/2 months. He is on track and is growing up. He weighs 21 pounds and 6 ounces. He is 29 3/4 inches tall. He is 90 percent for height and 60 for weight. He crawls every where and gets into every thing. He is very good at picking things up. He is so much fun though and we love him lots.
