Got a Job

Well I got a job. I am a call center rep. for about 5 banks. I got a call today saying everything is good and they want me to start tomorrow with training. Crazy that it starts tomorrow. I am excited though. I am ready to be working again. The nice thing is the job offers benefits.

Fun Filled Weekend

Saturday was the BYU vs UCLA game. Saturday morning we drove back from Rexburg to get back in time for the game. It was a really good game. I didn't take a picture of the score board at the end, but this is what the final score was BYU 59 UCLA 0. UCLA didn't score the whole game. Way to go Cougars. After the game we went over to my brother's to celebrate his birthday. Happy Birthday Jake. His party was fun too. It was a long weekend but a great weekend.

We drove by the Rexburg Temple when the sun was starting to go down. I really liked how the sky looked . It is a beautiful temple. We enjoyed going there when we lived there.

We got back from Rexburg on Sunday to go back up again 4 days later. On Thursday around 6 in the morning we got a text from Darin
saying Carolyn (Alan's sister)was in the hospital. So I packed our things while Alan went to class so we could head up soon after he got done. Their baby girl was born around 4 pm that day. They named her Brylie. She is very cute.

How to make this

So I was asked how to make this. I bought a 5 by 7 board at a craft store. The board is already cut out with the lines going across and up and down. I painted the board and in the cracks black. I bought scrap book paper that said temple on it. I painted the parts on the board where the scrap paper would be white. I then cut the scrap book paper to fit each section. When all the sections are cut out, you glue them on the board with elmers glue. The trick is to put a little bit of glue on the board and then use a damp paint brush to spread it over the section of the board. I just glued a picture in the middle from our wedding. Once everthing is glued in place then you use this stuff in the picture below. Before you mix it, get a plastic cup. Place foil down or you can line a cookie sheet with foil. Then put the cup in the middle of the foil. Put the board on top (the bottom) of the cup (center the board for balance).

The box will give you instructions on how to mix it. There are two different tubes in each box. To make a board like this. I did 2 oz of one and 2 oz of the other tube. You just have to make sure you mix equal amounts. After you mix the two together you pour it over different parts of the board. Make sure all parts of the board get the stuff. To get it out of the cracks use a popsicle stick and run it through the cracks until it clears out. Also if you don't want bubbles on the back side of the board just use the popsicle stick to scrape them off. One other trick, to get ride of the little bubble on the top part, just use a blower dryer. On low heat just blow dry the top of the board. Once you are done with this process you stick it in an enclosed place like a cupboard so dust doesn't get dryed in it. I always just place a new peice of foil down to keep the cupboard protected. I then take the cup and place it in the cupboard with the board still on it. You then let it dry there for a day or so.
Nikki if you want I have lots of the cups in the picture. If you want one you can have on instead of buying one.

Tagged

So I have been tagged by my friend Nicole. Since she has tagged me before I decided to do it. Here are six random things about me.

1. When ever I have some one take a picture I giggle a little. I am trying not to.

2. I had hernia surgery on my belly button 9 days before I got married. I would not recommend it but it was the only time that worked in my schedule.

3. I loved the TV show Friends. I have all of the seasons!

4. I saw my wedding ring 4 months before Alan and I went looking for rings. Here is the story. One of my guy friends took my roommate and I with him to approve of the ring for his girl. Well being girls we starting looking at all the rings. I found a ring that I loved and said it was the one for me. I was not dating any one at that time. I told my guy friend to buy the ring and one day the guy would pay him back. He didn't go for that. I then met Alan. I just randomly asked to look at my ring. When I picked it up I remembered it immediately. I guess it was meant to be my ring. I love my wedding ring.

5. I have really skinny fingers. My ring size is 3.5. When I got my finger measured I could also fit into the size three.

6. I love Milano Mint cookies. I could eat a whole bag at one time if I didn't watch it.

I tag who ever wants to do it.
