Little Mermaid

Last weekend we went into New York City and went to Little Mermaid. We stayed that night in the city with Alan's sister Janelle and her husband Jared. Little Mermaid was awesome. The costumes were pretty incredible.

It looks like I am holding a cane but it is an umberalla. It was raining that day.

Grad Schools

Alan applied to Boise State, Utah State, University of Utah, BYU, and Ohio State. So far he has been accepted to Boise State, Utah State and Ohio State for their masters of accounting programs starting this coming fall. He is waiting to hear back from BYU and U of U but they don't make their decision for another month. So who knows where we will end up but when we figure it out we will let everyone know. I am sure it will be a tough decision for him to make. I tried to put the email sent to alan from Ohio on the blog but it wouldn't let me so if any one wants to see it just let me know.

My cousin Darin applied to Deal or no Deal so he put us as one of his people. Here are the pictures we took of us.

Family

On saturday the 16th we went into New York city again and meet up with alan's parents (Keith and Bridgette), his sister and her husband (Janelle and Jared), and sister Jourdan. We walked around the city. Went out to lunch and then Keith, Janelle, Jared, Alan and I went and saw the Mary Poppins play. It was a very good play and the effects were amazing. We also went to a suit shop in New York that has discounted suits. Alan got a nice black with white pinstripes suit. It was even a 3 piece although Alan probably will never wear the vest part. Keith, Janelle and Jared came back and stayed the night with us. We were not going to make the train to come home by taking the subway so we took a cab. It was my first cab ride and was an adventure. The lights were set to turn green one right after the next so the cab driver never really stopped at the lights. He just would slow down a little and then would go when it turned green. Then he would also weave in and out of traffic. It was pretty crazy and a little scary. Then Bridgette and Jourdan came out on Sunday and we had dinner together at our apartment. It was really fun to see everyone.
Then on Tuesday my dad was out in New Jersey for work. It's only like an hour away so he drove to New Canaan and took Alan and I out to dinner. It was fun to see him and spend some time with him while he is out here.

My Graduation in December of 2006

Here is a picture of me at graduation. I was finished with my last semester of school in December 06. They let you walk the semester of or semester after you graduate so I walked in April 07 so I could walk the same time as my brother in law. I also graduated with the Accounting department so that way Alan's dad could hand me the diploma. It was really cool too because they had a suprise visit by Elder Hales of the Twelve, so I got to shake his hand as well.

Randoms

This was our first Christmas Tree that I made when we were first married. I just put paper on a card board box and colored the tree in. The candy canes are real. Also the little things on the tree are pictures from our wedding announcement. The tree topper was a wedding picture of us. It was fun to make and way easy to clean up which is the best part.




This was Alan's birthday card from his birthday last march. It say hey big hunk take a day to be a star because its your birthday. Uno you are the joy of my life. Look someday when we are making 100 grand we will have lots of runts running around. It will make us snicker. Your my hot tomale and sweetheart. love your airhead wife kristy. the airhead was a joke I am not really an air head.

This is a huge house we saw on one of our drives. There are lots of huge house here and most are new. Also most look like the old colonial houses.

We have to back up the side of his house every day. To get to our apartment you have to turn in his drive way and then take the turn to the right and follow that down. I still am not pro at backing up the hill.
